At Scoil Réalt na Mara, we are fortunate to have a soccer coach who regularly visits throughout the school year. He teaches skills to different classes in blocks of several weeks, enriching our students' experience. Additionally, he offers optional after-school football classes for an additional fee.
Our boys' and girls' teams eagerly participate annually in the FAI Primary 5s, a 5-a-side competition for 4th, 5th, and 6th-class students, emphasizing fun and inclusivity. The blitz day format is coordinated locally with the help of FAI Development Officers and local primary school teachers, leading qualifying schools to regional, provincial, and National Finals.
