Agreed Report on Board of Management Meeting

Date of Board of Management Meeting: 15th October 2025

  1. The Chairperson welcomed the new Board and thanked them for their attendance.

  1. The minutes of the previous Board meeting were reviewed and approved.

  1. The Principal presented his report to the Board.

  • Mr. Ó Fearraigh Informed the board that a complete electrical upgrade of the school was completed successfully during the summer. ESB are due to fit a new fuse board during the October midterm.

  • Policies Reviewed: Child Safeguarding & Risk Assessment. Admissions Policy.

  • Child Safeguarding: School closure on 18/11/25 For whole school staff training on new procedures.

  • Ger Brick from iNetSafety will deliver workshops to 3rd – 6th classes on November 4th and 5th, and an evening session for parents.

  • Mr. Ó Fearraigh will obtain quotes and seek sponsorship for new sets of Gaelic jerseys.

  • Mr. Ó Fearraighhas arranged a site visit from a Roads Safety Officer from Fingal County Council for Friday October 24th. Concerns in relation to accessibility and parking at Skerries Rock gate.

  1. The Board completed the Child Protection Oversight Report and received the Anti-Bullying Report.

  1. The Treasurer presented his report to the Board and the Board reviewed the financial position of the school.
