Agreed Report on Board of Management Meeting

Date of Board of Management Meeting: 16th of June 2025

  1. The Chairperson welcomed the new Board and thanked them for their attendance.

  1. The minutes of the previous Board meeting were reviewed and approved.

  1. The Principal presented his report to the Board:

  • Contractor has been approved to carry out complete Electrical Upgrade of the school during the summer.

  • BíCineálta Policy and documentation reviewed.

  • Mr. Ó Fearraigh the results from parent survey on bullying and well-being. Positive feedback.

  • The bord discussed proposals for banning mobile phones but agreed that the current acceptable use policy is sufficient at present.

  • In line with the digital learning plan, costings will be sought for replacing the current projectors in classrooms with smart boards like those already in some classes in the school.

  • Mr. Ó Fearraigh commended the Parents’ Council on their hard work in organising a very successful fundraising night.

  1. The Board completed the Child Protection Oversight Report and received the Anti-Bullying Report.

  1. The Treasurer presented his report to the Board and the Board reviewed the financial position of the school.
