Agreed Report on Board of Management Meeting
Date of Board of Management Meeting: 17/06/24
- The Chairperson welcomed the Board and thanked them for their attendance.
- The minutes of the previous Board meeting were reviewed and approved.
- The Principal presented his report to the Board:
- Work on resurfacing play areas in the school will commence on July 15th.
- As part of the schools Digital Learning Plan, six interactive touch screen boards will be installed in the school during the summer.
- The school’s SET allocation has been reduced from 145 hours to 137.5 hours, and the school will cooperate with local schools to create a shared post.
- Furniture will be upgraded in the Junior Infants classrooms during the summer.
- There has been a significant increase in application for junior infants this year.
- Lyon’s Den/Kids Inc after school care will commence in September.
- The school website is now in operation.
- The Board completed the Child Protection Oversight Report and received the Anti-Bullying Report.
- The Treasurer presented his report to the Board and the Board reviewed the financial position of the school.
