Agreed Report on Board of Management Meeting

Date of Board of Management Meeting: 17th December 2025

  1. The Chairperson welcomed the new Board and thanked them for their attendance.

  1. The minutes of the previous Board meeting were reviewed and approved.

  1. The Principal presented his report to the Board:

  • Workshops on Internet Safety with Ger Brick were very well received by pupils, staff and teachers.

  • New sets of Gaelic jerseys purchased. Mr Ó Fearraigh thanked Playball, Hennigan Electrical, Navita Technical & Hoar Rock Construction for kindly sponsoring jerseys for the teams.

  • Positive meeting with Fingal County Council with representation from the Board of Management and Parents Association. Council have agreed to install a pedestrian crossing at the Skerries Rock gate.

  • ESB have installed a new fuse board as part of Electrical Upgrade.

  • Rockabill Yard requires resurfacing. Parents Association to arrange fundraising.

  1. The Board completed the Child Protection Oversight Report and received the Anti-Bullying Report.

  1. The Treasurer presented his report to the Board and the Board reviewed the financial position of the school.
