Scoil Realt Na Mara  is a co-educational Primary school, which currently caters for over 400 primary school children in classes ranging from Junior Infants to 6th class. 

Since its foundation in 1978 the school has and continues to enjoy an excellent reputation in the Skerries region and beyond. The close co-operation between pupils, teachers and parents is viewed as the cornerstone of our endeavours and the school motto 'Ní neart go cur le chéile' (Unity is Strength) recognises this fact.

In providing for academic standards the school ethos places particular emphasis upon the cultural aspects of the curriculum. In daily school life and through extra curricular activities the school seeks to foster an awareness of the Irish Language, Music, Arts, Chess and a multitude of sporting activities. The school has also been to the forefront in the provision of information technology to the pupils and boasts a state of the art computer room facility.
